Set Up
A paint addendum that identifies each room and the exact color that each wall will be painted will be done before any work is started
Rooms and areas to be painted are scheduled with the customer
Customer removes all small furniture and breakables
AllCityPainting will move all furniture into the center of the room when specified on the contract
Wall and ceiling fixtures are removed
Furniture is covered with plastic and canvas drop cloths
Prep
Holes and cracks in walls are filled
Stains, such as water marks, are sealed and primed
Walls are scuff-sanded until smooth
Repaired areas are primed
Painting
Paint is applied with a brush or roller depending on the surface
Ceiling and walls are painted to proper coverage and finish color
Clean cut lines between trim & walls
Only premium quality paints are used such as Benjamin Moore Regal/AquaGlo Behr and Ralph Lauren
Clean Up
Furniture is moved back to original positions
Wall and ceiling fixtures are replaced
Floors and carpets are swept
All garbage is removed
Touch-up paint is labeled and left with the customer
Inspection of Work
First our crew will do a final inspection on their own to ensure that all work is complete as agreed on the contract, that there are not any touch ups and that all cleanup is complete
Second the crew will ask the customer to inspect the job and any areas of concern will be noted on a 'punch list'
Once all areas are complete and to the customers satisfaction, the customer is to sign off on the job as to its completeness and submit the final payment
